Full itinerary

DAY 1 Ulaanbaatar - L / D

1. Meet at the “Chinggis Khaan’ international airport and transfer to hotel  
2. After lunch city tour: 

                   - Sukhbaatar Square 

                   - Gandan Monastery

                   - National History Museum

       3. Evening performance - “Tumen ekh’ national ensemble to explore Mongolian traditional songs and musical instruments, such as Morin khuur, throat singing etc.  

       4. Overnight in the hotel 

DAY 2 Umnugobi - B / L / D 

1. Early morning flight to the capital of the South Gobi aimag, Dalanzadgad. 

2. After visiting Dalanzadgad drive to Yoliin Am, or ‘Eagle Valley’. /50km/

Yoliin Am is a wonderfully picturesque place with ice even in spring and it is surrounded by sheer rocky walls which form incredible canyons.

3. Visit to Gobi museum. The areas are situated in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park that encompasses the "Three Beauties'' peaks and the most easterly points of the Altai Mountains.

4. Overnight stay in tourist camp /mongolian yurt/ 

DAY 3 “Khongor” sand dunes - B / L / D 

1. Drive to Khongoryn els /200km/ and enjoy and climb up to over 200 m high Khongoryn els (Singing or Khongor sand dunes) 
2. Visit to the nomadic family. Camel Riding tour / The two-humped Bactrian camels are very comfortable to ride as they walk slowly and gently/ 
3. Overnight in tourist camp /mongolian yurt/ 

DAY 4 Bayanzag - B / L / D  

1. After breakfast, drive to the Bayanzag /160km/, also known as the Flaming Cliffs, where the first dinosaur eggs were discovered in 1922 by Roy Chapman Andrews. In this huge paleontological site, you will have a chance to walk on the ground where the Dinosaurs once roamed 60 million years ago. The red colored cliffs themselves are very imposing from a distance, and are particularly fiery in the light of the setting sun. 
2. Overnight in tourist camp /mongolian yurt/ 

DAY 5 Ulaanbaatar - B / L / D 

1. After breakfast you will be escorted back to Dalanzadgad for your flight and return to Ulaanbaatar. 

2. City Tour:

      - Zaisan Hill War Memorial 

      - Bogd Khaan palace museum 

      - Souvenir and cashmere shops 

      - State department store 

3. Overnight in the Hotel 

DAY 6 “Terelj” national park - B / L / D 

1. Drive to the Chinggis Khaan statue /statue of Chinggis Khaan on horseback/ 60km 

      - Terelj National Park 

      - The famous Turtle rock 

2. Visit to the nomadic family, you will be horse riding. 

3. Back to Ulaanbaatar

4. Overnight in the hotel 

DAY 7 Ulaanbaatar - B / L / D 

- Transfer to the airport and flight
